Fairview Memorial Park was the first public cemetery in Albuquerque, New Mexico located at the corner of Yale Blvd and Avenida Chavez. The older section is maintained by volunteers from a few civic groups who are working to get it declared a New Mexico Historical Site. Many famous and infamous early citizens are buried in this cemetery.
Cheryl Harris walked and read this cemetery during the summer of 2008, and included all existing legible stones and markers.
