DORFF William Granville Dorff, the son of Stillman and Eunice Adeline Miller Dorff, was born 17 Sep 1879 in Matamoras, Washington County, OH.  He died 21 Jun 1943 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, NM.  He was married first to Daisy Kathryn Walker with whom he had six children, Francis Lowell, Leland Russell, Gerald Leslie, Maxine, Lucile Virginia and Jimmie Wallace.  His second wife was Della Marie Browne, the daughter of John and Eufemia Chavez Brown(e).  They had an adopted daughter Mary Bernadette.  I have extensive information on the Dorff family beginning with Samuel Dorff who was born in Germany ca 1733, and came to America no later than 1759.
GALLES My grandparents (John Oscar Galles b. 1892) said there was a family connection to the GALLES in New Mexico.  In fact, on one of their visits to AZ to visit their son, they stopped in Albuquerque to visit the GALLES (that was in the 1960's).  There was a rumor that my GG Grandfather, John Peter Galles, b. 1829, who fought in the Civil War, had a brother who sent south.  I'm still trying to substaniate this.  John Peter came over in 1846-47 from Wellenstein, Luxembourg and settled in WI. His father was Nicolas Galles b. ~1801.  My GG Gradfather's  son, my G Grandfather, John P Galles b. 1860 settled in Slayton, MN. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
HOOD William Edgar HOOD b. Oct 1865 in Illinois; d.25 May 1940 at Globe, Gila, Arizona.  His wife died 1895 in IL and he was last heard of by family in Bernalillo county, NM abt 1900.  He left 2 small children with relatives when he moved from IL.  Have been unable to find out why his wife died or why he left his children.  Do not have any idea how long he stayed in NM before going to AZ.
KASEY James Kasey was a physician in the Albuquerque area in the early to mid 1900s.  I don't know if he died there or if he had a family.   He was born in the Kaseyville, Missouri area.
