Welcome to the Bernalillo County! I’m the volunteer county coordinator, and I hope the information on this website helps with your family research.
We're very lucky here in New Mexico, and lots of records (baptisms and marriages) have been published (most publications are Catholic records) and I own the majority of the books. The records start as early as 1706 and go through the late 1890's, some into 1910. If you would like to be a volunteer to help with look-ups, please let me know.
I'm looking to add more names to our "SURNAME" list. If you have lots of info on one family line, let me know. I'm on the list, and I specialize in the Gurule surname.
Also, I love hearing idea and suggestions, or if you might have material to add to this county, I look forward to hearing from you.
